1. Who we are

MothReads (mothreads.app) is provided by Stavroula Angeliki Alexoglou, an individual seller ("we", "us"). When you use MothReads you are contracting with Stavroula Angeliki Alexoglou. Contact: stavoulino@gmail.com.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use MothReads you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission.

3. The service

MothReads is a reading journal: you can log books and pages, set reading goals, time reading sessions, write notes and read together in book clubs. MothReads Premium is an optional subscription that unlocks extra timer themes and more shelf decorations.

4. Your account

Keep your login details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse MothReads, including by:

• using it for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
• sending spam or harassing other members, including in book clubs;
• uploading content that infringes someone else's intellectual property;
• interfering with security — introducing malware, probing for weaknesses, scraping, or trying to access other people's data;
• reverse engineering, reselling, or getting around technical limits of the service.

6. Intellectual property

We own MothReads and its software, artwork, design, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it. Your notes and reading data stay yours; you let us store and process them only to provide the service to you.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Premium is billed monthly at the price shown on our pricing page and renews until you cancel. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund terms are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.

8. Service level

We work hard to keep MothReads running well, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously break our rules. You can stop using MothReads at any time. When an account is closed, its data is deleted within a reasonable period.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost data or profits), and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will show the new date above. These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your country.
